Bat winter roost video (2023)
For the NATURA-2000 station Osterland we produced an information video about a bat hibernation roost in February 2023. The filming location was in a cellar below the wolf bridge near Osterstein Castle in Gera. Film and photo material of bats is important for educational and public relations work. At the same time, the animals are very sensitive to disturbances, especially during hibernation. That is why we were very careful and sparing with light during filming. The Lower Nature Conservation Authority Gera accompanied the shoot. Like the info video about a bat nursery, it is intended for the app about the forest nature trail in the Gera city forest.
